Our unique mountain and valley towns across Armstrong, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Huntingdon, Indiana, Juniata and Mifflin counties are known for their outdoor recreation, hospitality, craft beers, cool and funky breweries, gorgeous wineries and vineyards, and distilleries with character. Drink responsibly!
As you check in at businesses, you’ll earn points to unlock themed prizes to commemorate your experiences. Prizes can be picked up at one of the region’s 7 Visitor’s Centers. To pick up all three prizes at the same time, you must have a total of 2,400 points on your pass. If you redeem one prize, the number of points that prize is worth (1,200, 800, or 400) is subtracted from your points total. Prizes include:
• Corkscrew & Bottle Opener [400 points] – Unlock rich flavors of the Alleghenies’ finest craft beverages with this waiter’s tool.
• 3-in-1 Tumbler [800 points] – Cheers to you! Enjoy an ice cold beverage of your choosing in this specially branded tumbler to take with you anywhere you go.
• Backpack Cooler [1,200 points] – Whether you’re hiking, paddling, biking or just enjoying the outdoors of the Alleghenies this cooler will make the journey with you!

Finish the process, and you’ll be emailed info about your new Bandango account for the Alleghenies Tasting Trail Passport!
How The Pass Works
1. Get your pass.
This mobile exclusive passport is a collection of curated restaurants, breweries, distilleries and wineries offering deals and discounts to redeem during your visit.
2. Receive text.
Your passport will be instantly delivered to your phone via text and email and is ready to use immediately! There is no app to download. Your pass can be saved to your phones home screen for easy one-tap access.
3. Check in & redeem.
When visiting a participating business simply open the pass find the location and click on “Check In” to earn points. When you are ready to redeem your points for prizes click on “Rewards” icon on the bottom of the pass and complete the steps.
4. Share on social.

Prize Pickup Information
PRIZE PICK UP INFORMATION
- Prizes must be picked up by December 31, 2024. After that day, points related to the Alleghenies Tasting Trail will be removed from your pass.
- In the pass when you redeem your points for prizes you will select one of the 7 Visitor’s Bureaus for your item pick-up. The details on each location are inside the pass.
- Unfortunately, we can not ship prizes to pass holders.
- To pick up all three prizes at the same time, you must have a total of 2,400 points on your pass.
Prizes are available while supplies last.
The Alleghenies Tasting Trail is completely FREE and instantly delivered to you via email/text. Visit Central PA’s best breweries, wineries, and craft distilleries.
There are plenty of alternate modes of transportation available in and around the Alleghenies Region. Please drink responsibly. Must be 21 years or older to purchase alcohol at participating restaurants.
